I build companies. Then I run them.

I started Sugarleaf Labs in 2016 as a vertically-integrated plant-based extraction business, and built Forest Remedies as the consumer-facing brand on top of it. Neptune Wellness Solutions (NASDAQ: NEPT) acquired both in 2019. I stayed on as President of U.S. Operations through 2020 — the kind of crash course in running a public-company division you can't get any other way.

After Neptune, I spent two years deciding where the next problem worth ten years of my life actually lived. It turned out to be inside financial advice.

In 2023 I joined The Pinnacle Group to stand up what became ClientGen.ai — the bet that small and mid-sized advisory practices would rather have the same prospecting firepower as the largest wirehouses than buy another lead list. I'm the President. It's the third build.

The clearest thinking of my week doesn't happen at a desk. It happens on water, before the first email.
